QeyeT — Above the Clouds

QeyeT Classic

A standard @qeyet.com mailbox that works in the mail app you already use — Apple Mail, Thunderbird, Outlook, or your phone — over IMAP and SMTP.

Straight talk Classic is encrypted at rest on our servers, but it is not end-to-end encrypted — like Gmail or Outlook, the server can process your mail to search and sync it. If you want mail nobody else can read, sign up for QeyeT Quantum instead.

Questions

Can I email Quantum users from Classic?

Yes, as regular email. Quantum users see the sender as you@classic.qeyet.com, and their replies come back to your Classic inbox. It is not end-to-end encrypted.

Is a Classic address the same as a Quantum address?

Both are @qeyet.com, and a name can belong to only one of them. Classic accounts sign in with a password at classic.qeyet.com; Quantum accounts use six recovery words in the QeyeT Mail app.

What do I need to sign up?

A username, a password of at least 10 characters, and a quick human check. No phone number.

How do I get 25 GB?

25 GB is $2/month, $15/year or $36 for 3 years ($1/month), paid by card through Stripe. Sign in at classic.qeyet.com and open Upgrade. You keep the same address and settings.

What is a premium name?

Short addresses (2–4 characters), common words and common first names are premium names. They are included with the yearly ($15) and 3-year ($36) plans, one per account, and are not transferable. Pick one at signup or on the Upgrade page; we hold it for about 30 minutes while you check out. If the plan ends, the name keeps working for 30 days, then your other username becomes your main address and mail to the premium name still reaches you for 90 more days before the name is released. Names that accounts already had are theirs to keep.

Is there an app?

Yes. Use any IMAP mail app, web mail at classic.qeyet.com, or the QeyeT Classic Android app.
